White Marble Effect Porcelain

07 Sep 2023

White marble has always been one of the most popular options when it comes to natural stone, this is probably due to its elegant and simplistic appearance whilst still creating a wow factor in any space. Although Carrara has been around for hundreds of years and still remains incredibly popular to this day, over the years many other white marble products have hit the market with Arabescato and Paonazzo to name a few.

At Ionic Stone, we decided we would give our customers a more cost effective alternative solution when it comes to these popular marbles. Our range of white marble effect porcelains have much of the same beauty as their natural stone counterparts. With up to 30 different faces per product, these marble effect porcelains have enough variation to help create the ‘no single tile the same’ affect that natural stone has.

Statuarietto marble features small to medium sized grey veins on a white background and is exclusively quarried in the Carrara region of Italy, the exclusivity of this marble and the transport costs is definitely replicated on the price tag but our Statuarietto porcelain alternative holds much of the same beauty to give any home that same exclusive feel, we stock this product in a polished finish in both 600x600x9mm and 600x1200x10mm.

For something bolder, Arabescato marble also originates from Italy but the veins are much more distinctive. This marble tile is usually very expensive, making it unaffordable for many. Our imitation porcelains are very high quality and will fit most budgets. These tiles looks fresh and modern in almost any environment they are placed in, whether that be a bathroom, hallway or kitchen they a bound to give that wow factor.

Now time for the most popular in the family, the famous Carrara marble. This marble is definitely the most recognisable across the natural stone industry, with over 2000 years’ worth of history. With softer grey veins a more subtle overall look compared to the Statuarietto and Arabescato marbles, this stone holds a lot of simplistic beauty whilst also causing a breath taking feeling for anyone who sets eyes on it. Our Carrara Gioia is the perfect alternative, with up to 30 different faces dependant on size it gives the same effect as natural stone.

For something a bit different, we also have the Calacatta Paonazzo. Its marble counterpart is striking in appearance and holds much of the same features as our porcelain imitation. This tile has a white base with subtle gold veins throughout and seems to be a popular choice when matched with gold sanitary ware.
