The checkerboard affect has been popular for many years, this versatile scheme has worked perfectly in various different rooms in the house, from hallways to bathrooms. At Ionic Stone, we decided that we wanted to introduce a tile to our collection that would perfectly compliment our Caria Luna marble to create the perfect Tumbled checkerboard. We decided that the Ash Blue Tumbled marble would be the perfect fit, its dark blue colouring and subtle white veining perfectly ties in with the characteristics that can be seen in the Caria Luna marble. Both of these tiles are 305x305x10mm and create a beautiful, elegant feel in any home.

Our Olympus Cream Tumbled marble has always been a popular choice with our customers, with the grand feel of marble but the tumbled finish giving it a rustic edge, this tile creates a simplistic yet bold feel in any environment. For many years, our Olympus Cream range has been stocked in the smaller formats for quite some time, but we wanted to introduce a slightly larger format so it could be used in larger spaces. We decided that the perfect size to add to the collection would be the 406x610x12mm, this is now available and ready to go!

Now time for another brand-new product to add to the mix, the Calacatta isola. This marble oozes elegance and creates a wow factor in almost any environment. Bold and strong veins flow throughout the tile on a milky white and pure base, seeing this tile we couldn’t say no when deciding to add it to our collection. This tile is on its way over to us in a 305x610x12mm format and we can’t wait to get it out to our customers!

Large format tiles are becoming increasingly popular in the market, the reduced amount of grout lines and more coverage of the marble design make it the perfect choice for large spaces. We’ve introduced a number of our porcelain tiles in an 800x800 format to suit this design plan. Our Statuario Nuovo and Carrara Gioia porcelains hold much of the same beauty as natural stone, with up to 30 different faces per design this tile holds much of the same beauty as real marble. If you are looking for a more concrete affect, we also now stock our Industria Zinc and Ceraforge Iron in the same format.
